Greenwood Parks and Trails Foundation
West Cambridge Trail was developed in 2000 through the efforts of hundreds of volunteers, from scouts to senior citizens. The three-mile walking trail continues to thrive due to the hands-on work of parks and trails supporters.
Cambridge Gateway Trail in Greenwood is 1 mile long and runs between the Greenwood Country Club and the American Legion Building. The Trail runs from the West Cambridge Park to the Bypass along Cambridge Avenue. The Trail is nicely landscaped, lined with rock dust, and has good signage.
The Rock Creek Trail is a beautiful trail that begins at the Self Regional Healthcare Express Care facility off Rock Creek Boulevard just off the 72 Bypass. The trail is made of gravel and has several bridges. The trail is beautified by gorgeous trees, a lovely lake, and many native blooming plants.
Ninety Six Town Trail is 1.5 miles long and runs along Highway 34 through the middle of Ninety Six. The Trail starts at Ninety Six City Limits on Highway 34 toward Greenwood and ends at Ninety Six City Limits on Highway 34 toward Newberry. The Trail is beautifully landscaped,marked with signage, and lined with rock dust.
Two-mile paved walking/biking trail that begins at the Palmetto Bank of Main Street and ends near Florida Avenue. The trail winds through beautiful shaded areas and parts of the medical community. The Heritage Trail was once a railroad line and was saved by GGPTF’s rails-to-trails project.
This short 1/8 mile long trail was built on a former railroad track. It runs from the intersection of Reynolds Street and Grace Street to East Cambridge Ave. between backyards of houses and businesses. It is a convenient connector between town and Lander University for nearby residents and students. Another entrance to the trail is at Blake Street. It has a granite dust surface and is 10 feet wide.
Located on the corner of Grove Street and West Cambridge Avenue, an eleven-acre passive park that occupies an abandoned railroad switching yard.

Located on Magnolia Avenue, a three-acre park with swing sets, slides, and other playground equipment. A large covered shelter is available for community functions. Beautiful oak trees provide shade and beauty to this lovely landscaped site.
